Where concerns regarding research integrity are identified, the journal may investigate the matter and take appropriate editorial action, which may include rejection of a manuscript or post-publication correction, Expression of Concern, or retraction.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, or interpretation of the research.
All listed authors should have made an appropriate contribution to the work, approved the final version of the manuscript, and agree to its submission and publication.
Individuals who do not meet appropriate authorship criteria should not be listed as authors merely because of their position, affiliation, supervision, or other non-authorial involvement.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence, or could reasonably be perceived to influence, the objectivity of the research or editorial process.
Appropriate disclosure and management of conflicts help maintain transparency, fairness, and trust in scholarly publishing.
Further information is provided in the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy.

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using appropriate plagiarism-detection or similarity-checking tools as part of the editorial assessment process.
Where significant concerns are identified, the journal may request clarification from the authors and may take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics and research integrity policies.
Ethical Approval
Where research involves human participants, animals, personal information, or other research requiring ethical oversight, authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate ethical approval or permission where required.
Authors should provide relevant information regarding ethical approval, consent, or other applicable requirements within the manuscript where appropriate.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Authors may use Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies in accordance with the journal's AI & Generative AI Policy. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of their submitted work.
AI systems cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Where AI has made a substantive contribution to manuscript preparation or research-related activities, authors should provide appropriate disclosure in accordance with the journal's AI policy.
Corrections and Retractions
When significant errors, ethical concerns, or other issues affecting the reliability of a published article are identified, the journal will take appropriate corrective action.
Depending on the nature and significance of the issue, the action may include a correction, Expression of Concern, retraction, or other appropriate editorial notice.
Further information is provided in the journal's Retraction & Correction Policy.
Ethical Investigations
Allegations of research misconduct or publication ethics violations will be handled fairly, objectively, and with appropriate confidentiality.
The journal may request additional information or supporting documentation from authors, reviewers, editors, institutions, or other relevant parties when necessary to assess an ethical concern.
Where an ethical violation is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate action in accordance with its policies and the circumstances of the case.
Confidentiality
Information obtained during manuscript assessment, peer review, editorial investigations, or other confidential publishing processes should be handled appropriately and should not be disclosed or misused.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions should be based on the scholarly merits of the manuscript and the journal's editorial policies. Decisions should not be influenced by commercial interests, institutional pressure, author status, personal relationships, or other inappropriate considerations.
