Archiving Policy
Archiving Policy
Dynamic Computing is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of the scholarly articles published through the journal. The journal recognises that reliable digital preservation is an essential component of responsible scholarly communication and the integrity of the academic record.
Purpose of the Archiving Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that published articles, bibliographic metadata, and associated scholarly records are preserved and remain accessible for future researchers, authors, libraries, and other users of the scholarly literature.
Digital Preservation
Published articles are maintained within the journal's online publishing platform and form part of the journal's digital scholarly record. The journal takes reasonable measures to protect published content against accidental loss, unauthorised modification, or disruption of access.
Preservation of Published Articles
Once an article has been formally published, the published version is maintained as part of the journal's scholarly record. Articles are intended to remain accessible through the journal website for long-term reference, discovery, and citation.
Where corrections, Expressions of Concern, or retractions are issued, the relevant notices will be associated with the affected article in order to maintain the integrity and transparency of the published record.
Article Metadata
Bibliographic metadata associated with published articles, including article title, author information, abstract, keywords, publication information, and persistent identifiers where applicable, is maintained to support discovery, citation, and long-term identification of published research.
Repository and Third-Party Preservation
The journal may participate in appropriate institutional, disciplinary, national, international, or other recognised digital preservation and repository services as such services become available and appropriate for the journal.
Any participation in external preservation or repository services will be undertaken in accordance with the relevant service requirements and the journal's publishing policies.
Authors may also deposit their published work in suitable institutional or subject repositories in accordance with the journal's Copyright & Licensing Policy.
Author Responsibility
Authors are encouraged to maintain copies of their submitted and published manuscripts for their own records.
Authors may also preserve and share their published work through appropriate institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal webpages, and academic platforms, subject to the applicable copyright and licensing terms.
Website or Platform Disruption
In the event of temporary disruption to the journal website or publishing platform, the Editorial Office will make reasonable efforts to restore access to published content and preserve the continuity of the scholarly record.
The journal will take reasonable measures to minimise the risk of permanent loss of published articles and associated bibliographic metadata.
Changes in Journal Ownership or Management
If the journal undergoes a change in ownership, publisher, editorial management, or publishing platform, reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the continued preservation and accessibility of previously published articles and their associated bibliographic records.
Long-Term Accessibility
Dynamic Computing aims to maintain stable access to published research and encourages the use of persistent identifiers and recognised scholarly preservation mechanisms where applicable.
The journal's objective is to ensure that published research remains part of the enduring scholarly record and remains available for future reference, research, and citation.
Policy Updates
This Archiving Policy may be reviewed periodically to incorporate improvements in digital preservation technology, repository services, and scholarly publishing practices. Any significant changes will be published on the journal website.
